My 2016 Year

Basically, my year last year was pretty bad. There were some good parts, but it was mostly full of stress, depression, anxiety, toxic people, and false friendships.
January I was working at a retail store as a seasonal stocker. They said they'd choose the best people to stay with a full position, but I knew I wasnt gonna get chosen. The person who got chosen said they were ok with just seasonal and quit anyway.
February to March was me constantly doing art to survive to pay off my car insurance and other small bills while I looked for another job.The stress level was high.
April I finally got a job at another retail store as a cashier. This was a new store that just opened. Since it was so new, there were only 4 people, including myself, as the staff and that was it. We were struggling to hire anyone for a long time. The lady I mainly worked with was a key holder and sucked at her job so bad. She would tell customers to come back tomorrow if they wanted a refund, close the store way too early, make fun of people for no reason, was very slow with the simplest things. Idk how she was ever hired for that position. I knew more about what to do because I'd see the other mangers mess with the buttons and just observe what they do.
May I finally was fed up with working with that one lady. I told the assistant manger everything and she told the store manger what I said. The store manger told the lady she could step down and be a regular cashier or leave. So she stepped down to be a regular cashier. A bit before that, another key holder randomly quit with no warning. So, I saw the position was available and was like "hey, Id like to have his position". But, all these events basically happened back to back, the lady thought me being a key holder was taking her job. When I was really trying to take that free space before someone else did. She eventually ended up quitting, with no notice, and I haven't seen her since.
June was when I decided to leave that young adults group. Thought I could try to have friends or do something in my free time to get me out of the house. But, turns out that most of the people didn't care about me as a person. So, I left.
July was when I stopped being friends with that one dude for cussin me out for not saying hi to someone that doesn't want to talk to him. I was indirectly being harassed by him asking people for my address, publicly posting where I generally live, and threatening to get the police involved.
August to September was when I was being talked about by that guy even more with him spreading more lies for the past few months. I was mainly stressed because I've never had something like that happen to me before. I was trying to get more proof of his harassment, but he stopped right after I sent twitter the harassment claim. Yes, most of these lies and slander happened on twitter. He stopped talking about me, at least on that one twitter account, but who knows if he just messages people and talks shit about me and other good people.
October I went to Oregon to be with my boyfriend for a bit more than a week. It was the happiest I was the whole year. We only get to see each other once a year. It was great being with him and not feeling like I'm completely alone.
November was around the time the girl I was very good friends with all of a sudden didn't want to talk to me or have nothing to do with me. Despite saying that I was a really good friend and had a nice time with me everytime we would hangout. Plus this was around the time the store manager had to be out of work for surgery. So I got more hours at work. She doesnt come back until March 2016.
December I just got even more depressed and felt constantly stressed from working alot and from people just tossing me aside like a used tissue. Or harassing me or finding someone new and more fun to hangout with.
Even though I have depressive issues, I make sure that I don't act down and depressed when I'm hanging out with people. It's difficult to do, but it has to be done in order to hangout with a person. Basically a person will stop being friends with me eventually, so I'll try not to form a close bond with anyone next time. Doesn't mean I'll be rude or not try to enjoy myself with the person. But, it means that I won't get hurt as much when they eventually toss me aside. There are very few exceptions, but 98% of the time I am nothing to anyone and will be tossed aside.
