Musings

Dear DS diary,
Just a collection of a few thoughts today because I can't come up with anything coherent:
* Night terrors...okay, nightmares to you...have been devastating recently.  I keep replaying the news images about the Boston marathon bombing a lot.  When I saw my PCP today he suggested keeping a journal, but here's the truth: When a retrigger comes knocking, it's already too late.  No amount of journaling will permanently get it out of my head.
* To that end, my life coach has declared an impasse because I can't lock in on anything.  It's not his fault, and honestly he had no choice.  I've been given an appointment with a rehab center from outside sources (parents) so it's very possible I'm done with the life coach.  I have no idea what to say to him tonight.
* Sport musing: On the whole, MLB games have been faster this campaign than last.  But I still think implementation of the pitch clock (20 seconds) is inevitable which is almost sad.  30 years ago, excepting postseason games, 3 hours was enough for a typical network broadcast with time for a post-game show besides.  Not anymore.
* I gave SparkPeople the heave-ho.  Patience ran out with the members there.  You know you have a problem when you make known the kind of issues you have and people can't accept you for that.  Coming to terms with the fact that I am now training for the 5K truly solo will be hard to accept, but that's my reality.  I'll have to deal with it.
