Musing
Before I go for the day, I noticed that since I've been able to accept myself with my faults, and my right to be who I am, I feel less of a sense that something is 'wrong' with me. That lingering doubt is dissipating. I'm feeling more confident, and my self-esteem is growing.
No doubt it has something to do with the influence of my friends, and their encouragements to continue learning and growing. Not to mention my wordiness of my communications; it must be my female side coming out.

I\'m glad you\'re feeling good and accepting yourself, there is nothing more lovely for your sense of well being.
I am glad to hear that you are feeling great about yourself today. The negative self talk might come back some day, but try to move it from your head as soon as possible. You know you are kind, smart, and strong. I know it is hard to objectively judge ourselves without peer pressure. But probably taking in the positive influnce and comments, and selectively choosing those criticism and \"jokes\" will help us for the long run. I am an introvert too. Sometimes I found that those \"implied jokes\" had a say. There is a reason they said so. Maybe that\'s the part I need to work on. Anyhow, I think \"growing a thicker skin\" really helps me a lot. Just my two cents and hope you keep up the good work.
Hi Rich, this is so good to hear! You work incredibly hard to understand yourself and i am so pleased for you that your able to accept all that you have discovered about yourself. It gives me hope!
I wonder if it is about \'growing a thicker skin\' or more about acceptance that is important here? Hugs and blessings to you. V :)
