Mt Vernon
I had a coupon for a free ticket to Mt. Vernon. It was part of a reading program at the library. I got a coupon sheet and one of the coupons was to Mt. Vernon. It was a gorgeous day. I got to talk to a lady from Minnesota, she was with her husband. We were on the bus. I met a lady in line for the mansion tour who was from St. Louis and on the way back on the bus I met a woman and her 2 grown children, they are from Utah. The son lives in DC and is getting married in late Dec, his fiance lives in MD.
They had a fall festival going on. I saw 3 horses that were there.

Thank you for sharing your pictures of Mt. Vernon. I really enjoyed seeing all the pictures & learned a lot from seeing the pictures. The bed was so small & the fan was neat. U sure can learn a lot from these pictures. It's really nice how you got this trip for free & u enjoyed & met people. The landscape was really pretty too & neat that there were horses.
