Moving On
Glen Campbell has alzheimers and suddenly I'm that ten year old girl, sitting on the floor, listening to Wichita Lineman. Where did the years go? How can he be old enough to even have the disease. In my eyes he's that old guy of about thirty who used to have a show on TV and he's the one that song two of my favortie songs.
Time is moving forward in the blink of an eye. When I was a child, I thought time moved slowly. Let's see: Five years to Christmas, a hundred years to becoming a teenager, but now, time is moving at lightening speed and Glen Campbell has alzheimers and I'm living in the twenty-first century.
It's time to enjoy life, to leave the past behind. It's time to move forward.

Time moves whether we thing it is slow or fast but it certainly keeps on moving forward. I can\'t believe I am 55 years old, a widow, and starting out all over again. I never thought I would be where I am right now that is for sure. If at 20 years old someone asked me where I would be a at 55 years of age, it certainly would not have been where I am now. Life takes sharp turns in our lives that is for sure. All the best to you from Diane B.
You are so right....saying it is the easy part for me....acting on it is so different. Larry and I loved to dance to his music. I hope we are able to move forward with some joy and peace, Hugs Lu Ann
I remember Glenn as a young man too. SIGH!.. I hear he is doing one last tour. Might be kinda sad to see him like that though.
The only way to slow the passage of time is to practice staying in the present moment..
