Moving soon

I applied for and was accepted for a house about 2 hours drive away. I also got a crisis payment from the govt to help because my circumstances are so dire with the neighbors. I’m getting help from my daughter who I have reconnected with and a support worker. I’m moving 2weeks before the end of my lease and I will put in a complaint with consumer affairs to stop the land agent taking that money out of my bond. I discovered from the agent that the problem people can get inside my house at will when they came in with her permission when my smoke alarm went off. Great, as if I wasn’t worried enough about my safety. Police are even concerned for my safety as the son and his cronies are well known to them and I’m to ring them immediately if I have more trouble.

I’m supposed to be back here cleaning and packing but I don’t have much except stuff I use on a daily basis and last minute stuff to do like lawns and floors. Having more to do would actually be helpful but I’ve kept the place too clean for that.

just white knuckling it until I can go. Anxiety and fear is 24/7 and debilitating. I think even after I move it will take a while to get over all this.

this is great news....how big a house? you will like living in house if you have not been living in one....apts suck.....I like having houses since 2000 when I came home from Guam....on Guam I lived in three different apt places....last one was much bigger than the other two....first had 8units and family living in three of them....second was four units and a manager living in one.....last was multiple I do not know how many units but many....I am glad I have had house since coming home from Guam....11yrs in one 9.5yrs in other and now I own this one and I am not moving until the coroner comes to pull me out of this place in a body bag! LOL Unless I win Lotto....then I will move for sure....

Good news that you're getting out of there--and with the crisis payment to boot. That sounds like a nutty living situation. I'd be counting the minutes to get out of there, too, shaky. Some day those intrusive folks are going to intrude on the wrong person and be sorry, but I'm glad that person didn't have to be you. Better to get the heck away from them and let yourself take some time in a safe place to get over all of this nonsense. We're with you while you white knuckle it until then, ok?

Thanks for the great support everyone, I really need it for a while. I know many of you have bigger or ongoing problems and I really hope yours can be sorted soon. It’s a 3 bedroom stand alone house Bill but I feel the need for that large space around me after the current situation. The house is also on a large block so even more room to heal and garden.
