Movers Came Today....
The movers came today and put everything back IN the house. Piece by piece... I put little pads on the bottom of all pieces and it makes it very easy to move the pieces now.
In the next few days I will be able to gradually unpack the boxes and go OUT with stuff that I no longer need or use. It has been so freeing to get rid of stuff and to have things go OUT of the house that need to go OUT.
Hubby isn't letting go of things but he never brings things in either. He's a very stuck person. .... in life ... mentally... and emotionally. He is frozen. I've known this for a long long time.
I still have much to get rid of ... and next is some more jewelry and going to put all my pieces in my dresser and take deco off the walls....
I washed down the walls, baseboards and blinds in the living room yesterday. I will get Anna to help me get one room at a time... walls washed down and then I can start painting baseboards... just a little bit at a time.
I start back teaching next week. It has been very nice to have this week off. I think i need a few more weeks off here and there to get it complete.... But I wouldn't know what to do without ONE MORE project... that's the story of my life... My dad and brother and cousins are the EXACT same way..... And my dad and brother are so creative... so are my uncles and cousins.... talent and skill beyond belief... I'm glad I got a little of it.
I need to figure out how to post pics to this site... haven't figured it out yet.

Hubby and I both were so tired today. We didn't either one sleep well last night but boy.. we still got a LOT of things accomplished. Even though we went slow, he got all the new blinds up and we wiped down all the furniture as it came in.
I cooked a very simple supper... and put a few things away.
I need to get Hubby an organizer for his papers. His computer and paper work / which is always a big mess/ is right in the dining room, which is open to the living room. He needs some kind of drawers. I think I can get a cute set of basket drawers to go by his computer so he can file everything away or at least PUT it out of sight.
I STILL NEED to hone down more clothing, junk in my drawers and jewelry. I've gone thru it once but my room still feels like it's junky.
I will go thru it tomorrow.
you're doing a lot lady!!! a lot a lot!!! but it sounds like you're trying to get it all done so you can switch back to regular life mode/regular job mode and all that entails........you will get it all done. i promise, you remind me of me, i get so into it that it's hard for me to be still thinking of all i want to do.........i get so excited wanting to take it to the Final Reveal!!!! you'll make it, hubby will too.........you're both doing a lot to make your nest a real sanctuary and place of pride........go y'all!
You have gotten a lot done, just do the rest a little at a time and before you know it it will all be done.
I wish I had your ambition and creativity, I don't do much around the house except to clean and even that's not a soften as I should, lol
