More triggers... :'(
I can't stand this one, it kept me up for a good while last night.
My sister is getting married three weeks from today. There's no question it's a good one, she gets her fiance moving and he helps calm her down. The strain of it, even though it's low key, is starting to show on her; she's calling my mother for support often.
She thinks she's stressing out...she doesn't know the half of it. I can feel full-on panic already. I hate going to weddings...I didn't hold up well when I went to my brother's last year, and I was wishing I could live chat online with someone while I was there, which is really bad no matter the excuse was. And I didn't even really have to do anything but show up.
This one will be a similar scenario, all I really have to do is show up. But the memory of the last wedding is hanging on me, and I can hear the voices in my heart already.
They're saying, "Fly away, David...fly far away." This doesn't feel like something that just keeping my head occupied with my coursework can fight, I just feel so scared. There just seems to be no reason why I ought to believe that this one will go any better than the last one, and that just brings me to tears.
It's going to be a long weekend...
