More time at the In-Laws

Today Geo and I spent more time over at his dad's house. Geo installed his brother's gift (a game system) on the TV and they had fun. I went shopping with his stepmom Diana. Apparently she goes shopping for insanely long times (like 4-6 hours) and wanted help with watching the baby. I offered to help, since it was late and the stores would only be open for a couple hours anyway. We went to 2 stores and she got 2 things, which is like a record for her. She normally tries on 10 things and gets one, and goes shopping for that 4-6 hours for just 2 things. I don't understand how people shop that long. My legs and feet give out, and plus it just gets boring trying on clothes. Maybe it would be different if I had the time, money, and energy to do a shopping marathon, but it's not. I was suffering from just a couple hours today, and that was with driving time between stores. I have bad feet and can't stand for long.
On the way home from shopping we stopped by Wendy's to get dinner. I got a salad and a small chili. I'm stuffed from it, personally. Geo got a big hamburger but it was the only thing he ate all day so he's ordering pizza. I'm not going to eat any of the pizza since I'm not hungry, no matter how good it smells. I can have some of it heated up tomorrow. Geo did some things on their computer, and we went home. It's hard being out all the time.. it's messing up my routine. I don't like having my routine messed up, even if it's not that set. I like having dinner at a certain time, watching my TV and having my time to write my journal and track my calories and stuff for the day. I have some time now, but it's not the time I would like. I ate late and took my pills at the wrong time. I don't like doing that.
Geo made a comment that all I do is complain in my journal. I don't know if that's true or not. I know I complain a lot in real life, and so it would make sense that I would complain a lot in my journal, but I don't know, so I'm asking the couple of you that read this: Do I complain more than other people in their journals? I want an honest response. I know I've been talking a lot about health and stuff like that because I'm trying to get healthy, but overall I think I try and just be honest about my day. I guess I could work on trying to be more positive and complaining less. Oh, boy, what a time to start that... I just started my sugar pills on my birth control, meaning I'm going to get my period soon. Great time to try and be positive *sarcasm*. Actually, if I can be positive while PMSing, there's nothing I can't do lol.
Food today was good- I had oatmeal for breakfast, beans and rice for lunch and Wendy's for dinner. Was in my calorie range for the day on everything. I'm getting better on sodium... today I was just over by 300mg instead of 1,000mg, and that's with eating out! Sleep- I got 9 hours last night plus a short nap in the day, which is pretty good. I'm tired now, so hopefully I will sleep well tonight. Mood was good today, didn't have too many mood swings despite my whole schedule being off. Stress was a bit high at times, with taking care of the baby, but I think I handled it well.
My in-laws might want us to come over tomorrow in the day. I don't know if I can handle 3 days in a row. They leave for Puerto Rico on Thursday for a week, so at least I can get a break from them then (well, we don't see them a lot normally so this is an anomaly) and we get the car yay!

I know how it is .. its nice to get away from home sometimes but after a while you just wanna be home with your own things. Wowwwww that woman can shop... 4-6 hours is i would say not the normal amount of time. I might do couple hours if im looking for something specific and if i cant find it having to go to multiple stores. Sounds like your handling things well with the inlaws. Heck i couldnt stand to be in same room as my inlaws.

I dont think you complin to much in journals... journals are a place to express your thoughts and feelings ... i think youre just being honest with your self. Hugggggzzz

If you look back at your journals and read them you can see a pattern were you talk alot abot your pains, and problems. that is what you do in a journal, talk about problems. Some would call that complaing, some would call that being honest with your self, I say call it what you want, I call it journaling, writing what is on your mind at the time. If you think you are complaing to much, then you are. If you need to ask, then you might be.

about the journals, i feel that each persons journals is thier own and can write in it whatever they need/want to. it is yours, no ones eleses. why was geo reading your journal, i wouldnt like that. if people who read your journal respond by saying all you do is complain, i would de-friend them.

Geo didn\'t read my journal, he just knows how much I complain. As far as I know, the only thing he\'s seen is the letter I wrote him on our anniversary. He\'s free to read my journals, though... He used to go to therapy with me and everything too. I use the same name here (Larissa238) that I use everywhere so people can find this if they wanted to. I don\'t say anything here that I don\'t want most people knowing.
