July 16, 2009: Craig and I went to the Extreme Makeover spectator section, this evening. Amazing! Yesterday they blew it up, last night they poured the foundation, and today they almost have two-story house built! Tomorrow, I think, they will be doing the electrical. While we were watching, Paige-designer-pink hard hat and pink boots, came over and was signing autographs. She was gracious enough to pose for a photo, for me. And, one of the field producers chatted with me and a couple of other people about the house, etc. Okay...so we all know in the big scheme of things this all means nothing. However, I have to say, it is nice to have such a cool distraction!

That\'s so cool !!! They came here to Birmingham, Alabama in 2005 to build a home for a family that had 2 year old sextuplets! They also had another child.
A girl I work with lived down the street from them and was able to watch the progress like you\'ve been able to do!
She really enjoyed it and it was such a blessing for the family.

Wow, it\'s good to hear of someone who is actually seeing this in action. Sometimes I wonder about those shows. Would that not be so amazing to have your house completely redone. My husband seems to keep some project going around here all the time bless his heart it takes him 3 times as long and about 40 trips to Lowes before the project is finished. At least he does a good job.
