More of the Same
Long days. Coming in from work late, friends out doing their thing. The job I now have leaves no time for a social life. You work late, holidays, evenings, doesn't matter. Then you come home to eat as strange hours. No time for a health club or anything else. Been three weeks and even the dog has gotten use to me not being around. She used to enjoy snuggling on the sofa, but last night she just went up to bed.
You make money, but no time to spend it and you'll be by yourself anyhow.

At least you are extremely busy working and earning an income despite the disadvantages of your job. I am the opposite. I am retired but still getting out the resumes without much success. I have an average social life and plenty of time on my hands. There has to be a compromise between the two.
Is your sadness the job or your grief? Sharon
I\'d be looking elsewhere for something that gives you some time to live. This sounds like pure torture.
