More info

Well today I found out that James Robert didn't die of a drug OD.  They STILL don't know what killed him but my fears that he killed himself where not true.  Two more weeks till they get the next batch of tests back.  Now they are looking at his heart and other organs.  God this is hard waiting,, wondering.  How much longer till I can put this all behind me?

This time of uncertainty is so very hard and I know to have the correct information around the cause is important for you. Hoping the two weeks don\'t just inch along and that you can find some pockets full of peace within them.

I\'m not sure that any of us can ever put \"it all behind us\" yet what we can do is to try to learn how to hold it all with compassion and kindness. It takes a lifetime I am discovering, yet the acute grief that I felt in those first weeks and months is no longer that same feeling today. It has softened around the edges and is more of a deep longing for and missing my son.

Take care of you and know that you are not alone on this path that none of us ever remember choosing, yet here we are...

Heartfelt (((hugs)))

I think we are all haunted by so many questions, no matter what the circumstances of our children\'s death. I hope you get some information soon that will help you understand, even a little, what happened. But the death of a child who is in his or her prime will always bring on a series of whys and what ifs. As Joanie says, the acute grief, the sense of falling apart, does get better with time. And the questions begin to take their place among all those other big life questions. But right now, that\'s all there is and it does hurt so badly. I know that for me it helped to know I could say all the things, good and bad, that were in my heart and not be blamed or called crazy. That matters a lot and i\'m glad you\'re here where you can be you, with all the pain and confusion that seems to take over the world right now. With love, Linda.
