More and more and more snow!

Well, my daughter was telling me that they were one day short of meeting the legal requirements for a state of emergency last week - that would mean they wouldn't be required to make up all these snow days and go to school all of June.  As I woke to at least another foot of snow on top of what was still there and it is still falling at a rate of 2-4" per hour, I think they may actually meet that requirement and will definitely be out the rest of the week!
The poor puppies tried to "go" outside, but the snow is over their heads!  I see shovels in my son's future!!
As long as the electricity remains on - I'm settling in for another week of home time with kiddos and the little woofs...;)

Guess I shouldn\'t feel so bad about the snow we\'ve been getting. Uncharacteristically, it\'s usually us Quebecers getting all the snow. We have been getting a bunch in the last week and a half but compared to what\'s happening in the states, we\'re getting off lightly.

Poor pups! Well, once they get bigger, I guess they\'ll love the stuff. Mine think it\'s the most fantastic stuff since rawhide bones!!!!

It is just harder here because we are not as prepared for a lot of snow - especially for the really southern states who rarely even get snow! I enjoy it. I think all of life should be this slow paced living :)

Well, the bigger brindle pup LOVES it and tries to plow on through (he\'s only made it about 2 feet though), but the white smaller one, he starts shivering and can barely stay out long enough to pee!!

Yikes! That sure is a lot of snow. I was thinking it is cold where I am at but just freeze here no snow.

I also like the way things slow down when the weather stops peoples routines.

Do you have a fire place?

Unfortunately, no fireplace in this house! My parents live up the drive from us and have one if ever needed. It was -15 F this morning. At 5 a.m., Beefy made it to the first step out the door and went - Peatree decided the entryway was warmer!! The good news (in our strange weather) is that by Sunday it is supposed to be 61 F!!!
