Monday was 3 months

I have reached that healthy stage of acceptance with my grief from losing the twins.  I have come such a long way in the past month.  Therapy has been really great and helped me along and I have found strength that I didn't even know I had.  I will never forget my boys, or my loss but I am living again as I know they want me to be.  I know they are looking down and watching over me and I want them to be proud of the woman they will call Mom when we meet again one day.  I will be planting flowers in their memory on their due date, May 25th. I still have some moments where the emotion hits me like a ton of bricks and I can't help but cry, and I think that will always be a part of me but I am moving forward day by day and focusing on positive things in my life.

I am excited to say, my husband and I have agreed to TTC in May as well.  I hope after all of our losses this next pregnancy will bring a new chapter for us!  Our losses will never go away regardless of what's ahead that's for sure but we still want a healthy baby more than anything in this world and knowing that could be our reality one day makes me smile.

This journal made my heart smile.

While no one would expect you to be at any particular phase at any particular time (as each person\'s path is their own), I feel so glad for you when you say that therapy is making a significant difference for you and you have found a new strength and that there has been so much momentum in the past month.

I can relate to what you say about the emotions hitting you like a ton of bricks still from time to time. This still happens to me out of the blue from time to time, even a year later. Even though most days are now \"normal\".

I love that you are planting flowers in your boys\' memory on their due date.
And I love that you are excited about TTC again in a couple months.

Thinking of you and wishing the very best for you.
