Aww I\'m so sorry. Facial injuries can look bad enough when no bones are broken, so I can imagine how hard that was for you to see. (((HUGS))) Best wishes to you and to your Mom for a speedy recovery.
I am praying for her and for you. Please keep us posted
Wow McKenzie, when it rains it pours. She is blessed to have you there with her and your sisters. I pray she has a speedy recovery. Don\'t forget to take care of you to. Much love, Cindy

How is she doing ? I hope she gets better quick, hugs barb
You know that I am thinking of you McKenzie, and even in are darkest hours we still find some light far beyond to keep our attention, and for you your attention is to take care of yourself, and be with or talk to your Mother as much as possible. I know it\'s so hard seeing her like she is, but take comfort that she knows you are with her, and she appreciates you to know end.
I wish I could say or do something to make things all better for you, but my words seem futle at this point, but please keep ypur strong faith as will I for you and your whole family, and especially your dear Mother.
OMG Mack, I am so sorry to hear this. I can\'t believe I missed this post. I\'ve been so wrapped up in my own issues! I\'m so sorry! What a horrible experience. How many steps did she fall down to do that much damage??
I slept much of the day, what a relief, I really needed to catch on some sleep.
Spent some time with Dad, and the went to see Mom at the hopsitra,l as well yesterday, then did my banking and food shopping, there is no end to the things we need to do do in a day.
Mom was looking a lot better last night.
Friday, my 2 sister well go to Ottawa with Mom, to see the plastic surgeon.
Mom should be discharged next week sometime.
Then I will go and stay there for the time needed for her to recuperate and be able to walk without her head spinning all the time.
Right now that is one of the major issue, her head spins even laying in bed.
She fell 6 stairs I think there is to go down in the garage.
& of course the floor is cement.
Anyway, I need to cook up supper, Richard just came in from work.
Again Thank you for your support.
Mac one day at the time.
hope all goes well, things have been so tough for you but you keep trugding on. you are a trooper. take care and dont forget your own health as you will be no good to her if you let your own health go. hugs barb
Oh girl that is so bad for your Mom. She will be beautiful again. Plastic surgeons can do wonders. I will say a prayer for her. Hugs to you.
I am so sorry about your mom\'s accident. I will keep her and the rest of the family in my prayers. Take care of yourself too. Much luv, jackie
Mom is a strong cookie, today the surgeon fixed her nose, so one down.
As for all of the fractues in her face, she needs to massage them gently in place, as they are cracked and not broken, Thank The Good Lord.
So in time, they will heal accordingly.
The Specialist compared her cracked bones, to cracked eggs, so only time will heal.
A friend of mine wrote to me yesterday and said; \"You have got to sometime say to God; Why Me ! \"
I replied; I don\'t ever recall saying so.
I prefer thinking that God Works in Mysterious Ways, and look at why it happened, and I always find out why, and I did in this incident as well, but it was sad that it happened to Mom to prouve a point to me, and fix a situation, I had gotten myself into.
To get back to my Mother, she signed herself out of the hospital today.
The Doctor in charge of her case, wanted to keep her in until her head stops spining, which it still does, but she didn\'t want to stay in.
So this means that I will be going there to sleep over, way before the time we had schedule me to do so, but the few days aheads anyways, cause my Dad would truly appreciate it, I\'m sure.
I would like to thank you all again, for your kindness and support in this time of worrysome in our family.
Have a wonderful weekend my friend.
Mckenzie
