Misstated remarks
Well had an interesting trip to MN. Got to the farm and it was nice to see the in-laws. Then we started discussing things and the discussion turned to my Tim's Harley. They just don't understand why I'm keeping it. I have my own and they stated you can only ride one. I sometimes feel as if they are trying to erase him, they also thought it was odd that I didn't order new checks without Tim's name on them. The motorcycle caused quite a discussion as my oldest Son was there. My son stated that the motorcycle was something his father had worked hard for and was his pride and joy. They think that I should sell it as money is a little tight. Then my Son responded that if Mom needs the money then he and his brother would buy it to keep it in the family. That caused them to state that there is no way that would work. They feel people are to greedy to share an item. Then they went on to elude to the fact that now that my Tim is gone they won't have to worry about who gets there Harley as they only have one other Son. Needless to say I had to leave and had a little meltdown. I know in my heart that they didn't mean it the way it sounded, but it did come out very cold.

There are people who just say the things to us all the wrong way and some do indeed say them with a pinch of greed in their voices. It just hits you when this happens and for you to walk away is good. regroup and never mind all the crap others put on us. You keep what you want whether anyone else understands the reasons, you know what the reasons are. Minnesota, I am from and still live in Minneapolis where abouts are you from in Minnesota. Peace and Love to you Laurie
I am not from MN, I grew up in CA but moved to Southern MN when I was 15, Hanley Falls. I met and married my husband and we lived first in Wood Lake, MN then raised our boys in Rice, MN. We laid Tim to rest in Wood Lake, MN. When we were in Mpls last weekend we stayed at a friends home in Roseville, MN. I also have a Granddaughter in Somerset, WI.
It would have been nice to have a cup of coffee while I was in the area. Maybe next time. My Son talks about going at the end of September. Who knows. Thanks for your kind words.
