Missing my daughter

It has been a few days since writing and I have really missed not only writing but hearing from all of you.  Today was the first day of my 2 week vacation. I had all these plans to clean, organize, etc and I found myself not having the energy to do a lot.  It has been almost 4 months since Jennifer's death and my energy level is still so low....my mind doesn't seem to shut off sometimes, either, which makes me tired.
My step-daughter is having a hard time right now and in listening to her today, I found myself missing my daughter so much . I would give anything to have "one more argument" with my daughter and then talk it out and hug.  I love her so much and the missing her leaves me feeling so empty.
Please pray for my grandson, Hunter, as he is having some problems. Some problems are related to his mother's death but some problems were there before. I believe God is bigger than any problem we have and I know he has a plan for Hunter. Thank you sisters of the heart. I am always on this site reading your journals and words of wisdom laced with love. You are a blessing!

It is all so very raw-4 months young- Having no energy is common as is doing an excess of activity to take one\'s mind off of thingsGive yourself plenty of slack, try not to overdotry to be extra nice to yourself as nobody \"gets\" how hard this is except us that have gone through thisI will add Hunter to my prayers.
Yes, I also believe that God has a plan for everyone\'s life--no matter the age. Trusting in God\'s love for us, no matter how hard that may be to do sometimes , always helps me Hope your vacation finds you doing something nice for yourself! Love, Donna

It has been 3 1/2 months for me and I know what you mean. I wake early with my mind racing and panic sets in. All I can seem to do is pray for everyone that comes to mind. My house has gotten so bad that my daughter actually asks to sweep.
Be open to the little blessings that our Father sends your way,
if you can. I will continue to pray for you and Hunter to find peace. I so wish that SOTH lived close by so we could walk together when we need motivation.

Allowing lots of wiggle room and grace with the lack of energy is ongoing. Sometimes it is so very difficult to separate what is being the age that we are and the grief. Add them together and WHAMO it\'s a lot.

Prayerful for Hunter and knowing that these little people go through their trials and having a loving community to surround them is vital, isn\'t it...

Don\'t have too many expectations of yourself and give yourself too lots of pats on the back when you are able to accomplish something that you want to.

Be well and know that we are here and thinking of you.

Heartfelt (((hugs)))

Lack of energy I think comes from an over burdened mind and a sort of \"who cares\" that can overcome us in this horrible place we find ourselves. I started taking Twin Labs Stress B complex months ago and it has helped. I\'m supposed to clean today, dunno if I will. \"Who cares\"? We all know exactly how you feel, we all have felt that way or still do and maybe always will at times. I\'m in the beginning of the fourth year - just passed the third anniversary - and too much niggling stupid stuff is resurrecting my grief: dog is sick, tooth has to be pulled, closing sale on the house I shared with my kid....rocking my lifeboat. But as I said in a journal (or maybe in response to some else\'s journal), I am not alone on this ocean, I am surrounded by YOUR lifeboats. So \"look\" around, we\'re out here with you sister.

The exhaustion is so hard to deal with. I\'m not sure about you but I had a really hard time dealing with any stressors, especially if family members were involved. It seemed like I couldn\'t differentiate between serious and trivial issues. I would overreact to everything!
Be kind to yourself. It is exhausting supporting others when you are in such pain. My prayers for your stepdaughter, Hunter and you.
