Mirtazapine part 2
Well, I decided to get off the Mirtazapine. The Depression was so dark and painful, the suicidal thoughts were constant. So I went off could turkey and felt the dark thoughts lift immediately. Now I suffer with anxiety again but it's much better than the way things were. I wish I could get to see a doctor when I need one. I have to wait 3 more weeks to even see a Nurse, and I'll have to tell them I went off one of my meds. Makes me nervous. I don't know if they will give me a different med or I'll have to wait Another month after that to see the doctor. And if I get a different med, will it be any better? I really wish I could be on the right meds Now. But at least things are better than they were. I'm actually doing semi-ok. Keeping my fingers crossed that I stay ok.

I am so glad you are feeling better and am sending you hugs and encouragement that things are going to get better for you...I can feel it.
I\'m sure your doctor won\'t give you any problem because you went off one of your meds. They are there for you and want to find a combination of medication that works.
Hang in there.
Call and let the doctors know you went cold turkey and why, they may want to see you immediately even though you are much better, but going cold is dangerous, the doctor may realize that you are desparate to feel better. Take care.
Brokenlife is right. Letting your doctors know may get you an appointment much sooner. It\'s terrible that you have to wait so long in the first place. Maybe if you told them that the Mirtazapine was causing you to have suicidal thoughts, they would want to see you immediately?
Anyways, please take really good care of yourself and please don\'t forget that I\'m here for you.
