minding my own boogie

I was thinking about our planet's potential survival if we all were somehow

able to curb ourselves..Thank god for people like Greta Thunberg.

Most of us out of personal pain and self interest - self interest because of the effect of

human foibles on each of us, focus solely on our own boogie in life. We tend to focus as a result on just 'what we're into..'

This morning at work I felt a lot of rejection all around and started to attribute it to who I am...

but then also I had a kind of

resignation to affirm myself while on my own path - (which is a powerful thing) :)

....and I started to think in terms of knowing myself and believing in myself shortcomings and all - and the phenomenon of suffering

the negativities that can happen during the work day.

I started to think in terms of focusing on my own side boogie (yes from the pain of feeling the rejection

of others) that I would like to do in life...

and make that with a sense of standard, quality, and positivity.

I thought about how all that negative stuff that comes our way - really can chip away at our self

esteem...if we let it...and it's important to purposefully affirm ourselves if we need to - we probably

all need to at times. :) Writing here is so strange.. I am holding all of your writer's voices in my mind

as I write and I am just boggling about that reality right now. My Dad said ...something to the effect of

"you're writing to a phantom" - hehe I know it's untrue - he just had a hard time understanding

the dynamic of an online support group.

Anyways - getting back to the initial point....I wish we had some powerful idea, epiphany and or leadership

that would help us cope and restore the world's ecology.... If only we could look beyond our navels. :(

Hola Mark,
I’m not a phantom I’m a real gal :) lol
You know what it reminded me when you said you felt rejected, I used to know this girl that used to say rejection is either redirection or Gods protection & I always kinda liked that saying.
I hope you’re doing good as I write this
Big hugs <3

I kinda think there’s an element of truth in the dynamics of writing into an abyss. I say that because I’ve had some not so pleasant experiences online and this is very much a shadow of the real existence we are living out there in the real world. What I mean, in pragmatic terms, is that this is kinda hiding out. Real human communication and the intimacy in the real life non-anonymous realm is where life truly moves forward.

Or writing in a writing space where the creative connections aspire to great meaning.

Don’t get me wrong - I too am sooooooooo entirely grateful for a supportive space. But I know there is a real world out there to navigate and be able to have the right tools to do so! I love ya, Markus. Please don’t take it the wrong way! I’m thinking about big picture mental health and wellness and achievement of goals.

Big hugs.
