Merry Christmas Ric xx

Merry Christmas Ric, we really missed you today. You missed Thom walking in the bathroom this morning and wishing me Merry Xmas, then the look on his face when he saw the mince pies and carrots had been eaten, the magic dust was there, and his presents. We spent the morning building the Lego heroes, it took ages, only managed two, he told me you would have been quicker! He didn't mean any malice though. Then I had a bath, and sobbed my heart out for you, our lives are so different to last Xmas Day, it seems an eternity ago. We went to visit Nellie, next-door, she too, lost her husband in Feb this year they'd been married 70 Years, he was 93, imagine that. Had dinner at my dads, and we are going to visit your mum tomorrow. I so wish you were here; I'm scared of facing the rest of my WHOLE life without you. How will I cope as a single mum, emotionally and financially? It breaks my heart that you won't see our boy grow up, I know you loved and thought the world of him and he did and does you.
