Mentally ill or disturbed?

Beginning to wonder if our ES has serious mental problems or if it's just his GF dictating what will be and not be.  After the scathing message and being told how rotten we are, that we will never see him or the kids, we have our oldest GD for the weekend.  It's a wonderful blessing to have her all weekend and she says she will be able to come more often because her father told her he would never keep any of them from us.  So this is our Christmas miracle.  As long as we get to see the kids, that is all that really matters.  The other 2 will be here - one at a time - some time during the next 2 weeks.  God does perform miracles.  It's just that we never know what to expect but maybe that is a good thing.  Have a great weekend everybody.  Hugs and prayers

It could be that the world wide prayer request is working for us too.  Being allowed to have the GC is the best miracle of all.

What great news!!! Yes, patience and prayers -- two gifts God gave us (although it took me a long while to learn patience).

So glad your GC are in your lives. Merry Christmas.

I glad you get to see them! Despite the confusing mixed messages.

I\'m SOOO happy for you that you get to see your grandchildren. What an amazing step forward!
I\'m beginning to believe that our only son must have mental health issues too. It\'s hard for me to believe that a girlfriend could cause all of this. He is the one who is culpable, as he is the one who has thrown his parents away.

LitttleLadyP, I do agree that there is more than the GF but I think it is evil and the dark side rearing it\'s ugly head. The GF and her family are not Christians nor do they have any beliefs. So I think there is much evil in their lives that transfers to our ES. All we can do is pray constantly for them and ask God to save them, turn their lives around, open their hearts and eyes. It\'s all ultimately in His hands and His time but I have to have faith that it will happen.. Having a wonderful time this weekend with eldest GD then will have 2nd GD overnight and 3rd who is only GS for an overnight too. We still have to arrange details but it will happen. Eldest GD is 14 but very insightful. She will see that the other 2 are able to come too. God bless them all.
