Men part 3 - Trigger Warning

That evening when I was 15 was horrible, I got out of there as quickly as I could. I told no one. The next night everyone was hanging out by our old primary school, I mean everyone, yes including my friend & him! He was behaving like nothing had happened, I was confused, upset, no, distraught. I picked up a piece of broken glass and started scratching my wrist with it. Not deeply but enough to bleed. By the time I got home I was so ashamed that I put on a thick leather bracelet I owned back then & kept it on until the wound had healed.

I steered clear of boys for awhile after that, when I was 17 a friend of mine introduced me to D, he was rather charismatic and I was quickly smitten. He was a couple of years older than me, we got on great, so after a couple of dates I thought 'what the heck, at least he likes me'. We got it on, a couple of months later he just simply disappeared. I was heartbroken, but not as heart broken as I would be by Chrustmas of that year ... 1995.
