Members with out photoes
Hi fans. I have been giving it some time to think. I feel that it is only fair that I let people know. I hardl ever contact DS members who have no photo of any kind on here. The reason for this is that it is not always easy to know or remember who I have contacted ect. Apart from their usernames As there are no photo the imiges look alike. One blank imige of a female is no diferent from another. Like wise wit the Blank images of males. As thaere are so many it is even harder to know. I do undrstand that some folk do not liketo have their picture taken or displayed. Some may not be able to do it. Others deside to use animals or what ever. Yet again I have noticed that some folk use the same as another member. Like gogs or frogs ect.. Itsnot a problem but it would be great if some one could do some thing about it. If any one can help do it for any one who cant then thiswould be progress. You all know of some one on DS wo dont have photoes up & some who for some reason can not do so but would like to.. You may not be able to help them but you ma know or know of some one who can. In most cares there are always ways around things. My dear mum used to say where there is a will there is a way. I know that folk cant post other members their photoes for valid reasons ect but if any of you can do so some how then why not do it? Your own addressess need not be given out unless you are family friends or what evr with each other ect. Please do pass this on to all members. Take care. Lots of love & hugs. yes it does make it easier when people here have pictures of some sort up but I understand people may not want to put any picture up even if it is an anonymous type picture. I guess it all comes down to peoples preferences...but yes I agree it does help to remember who is who a little better and make it easier to reply consistently to people. ***HUGS*** Take care.
I have a generic pic up for many reasons. One so my ex cant see or find me on here since he has done so already once while I was still with him and that was not a good experience. Another is cause of my job too, I have to be discreet because of that. Also the last reason is sometimes it is just easier to let go of all my thoughts and feelings if no one knows who exactly I am becaue of the fear of being found.
Yes/ I d understand that folk may have valid reasons for not putting photoes up. I dont mind seeing pics of flowers & any other thing but when folk have the same photo or non at all & all we se is a BLANK image of who ever womans or mans face & shoulders as if it were a negative from a spool or film of a camera then it can get dificult to know who is who As there are so many folk on DS & we dont alway look at the user name Again I say I know that some of you cant do a thing about it or have reasons as to why you dont ave proper photoes up even if they are not of you but some thing diferent from other users Yet that aint easy to know either. i would liketo add that for folk who cant Or do not know hao to place pics theis DS net work sould have a section where you can choos alread displayed pics that ds staff have placed for you to choose from but also tere should be a easy to use system set up so folk can down load pics from any where thay like on to their profile page & intro page. yes people have reasons why they put different pictures on there profiles, i think thats up to them what picture they want! if there your good friends they will or you will remember them by there username!
I agree with all of your comments. But I too feel you should just pay attention to who you are writing to and it would be just as easy.
I agree with all of the above....people have different issues in their lives that we know nothing about...for some it is a privacy thing, for others a safety issue, one never knows, thank you for sharing your feelings on this....God Bless You.
