melancholy morning
melancholy morning, don't crest on me.
I'm doing my morning everyday things.
the beauty of the morning is permeating,
the cool air coming through the windows.
The dawn's early light dimly lighting the apartment.
the windows open and the crows and the classical music in the background.
no one but me and Blue together.
It's another day of having to carry the responsibility for
creating all the plans alone for a day alone
but gosh if it's just that why should I let the emotions
surge and crest into a tragic upset??
I'll get out the door and WALK to the grocery store near
me and buy some ground coffee. It's something for sure
I can do and will boost my mood by a bit of exercise.
Have a great day everyone!! schnoogles (as a friend of mine says.) :)

Hope you feel better as the day progresses! Hugs.
indeed I do! thanks judy! :) i hope things are good with you too! :)
Very pretty poetic start to your day. Spirit is lounging on a perch in front of an open window until I have to close it and turn on the AC. I hope you and Blue enjoy the rest of your day!
thanks Susan! It's very hot here as well. I am tempted to turn on the AC too! Is Spirit a cat or a bird?
She’s a cat. Since it’s her house, I have 4 window perches. :)
haha!
I'm glad you're feeling better! And, thanks! : )
thanks Judy!
feelings welling up in me. I have therapy in an hour. I've got laundry
going in the dryer. I need to fold some clean laundry from the first load.
After therapy I am going to see the new Indiana Jones film. It should be fun!
I had therapy today too.
I get down too, or perhaps a sense of irritability or feeling at a loss wondering what I’m doing wrong and why am I in this position?
But that rolls back to comparisons with others and that no one way is the correct way to live life. Our journeys are all Different. Sometimes I think those expectations cause the feelings of “failure” for lack of better word choice. We are worthy of happiness and when assessing big picture things like “loneliness” we have to remember our value and be pleased with ourselves before seeking out “happiness” in another person. There’s obviously a lot more to it, but it comes in time with our interpersonal developments and navigating socially.
Sending big hugs.
Thanks Nikki!
