Medications

I have no idea why, but I have been on several different medications and from all the different drug classes out there and nothing, absolutely nothing seems to help me. Not even prescription pain medication. Usually there is something that'll work for someone, except me of course. I am tempted to have the doctor refer me to a geneticist, maybe they can discover why I am unresponsive to medication. Gosh, even therapy, I don't even respond to that and I've tried it several times. Like...how can just 1 person be that different, it makes no sense at all. It's like I'm already dead yet I'm still walking, talking and yes, writing. I wake up everyday, my body hurts from the OA, my head hurts from the headaches and chiari yet I still push on just to get through the day. I'm basically deaf, even with my hearing aids I can't understand what everyone is saying and get confused, I don't even know how many times I have to let people know I have a hard time understanding due to my deafness (70 decibels to understand most of whats being said), I qualify for the disability tax cut yet due to all my problems and ailments doctors will not qualify me for disability! I am literally a walking medical mystery. My own family won't even provide any medical info and I don't even exist to them! It's like a great family secret has never been told and is an unknown mystery which has shown up in me. I'm stumped, the doctors are stumped so where do I go to get some real answers?....All I can think of is a geneticist, but then the question of how long will it take them to sort out this puzzle...mystery?
