Medical Care
Hubby has been handling the pediatric care since the maskite invasion. Well over a year now but still something less than two years. Our grandfamily officially formed on August 14, 2019. He has been handling ALL of the pediatric specialty visits for most of our time onboard this little ship of fools. That is quite allot of office visits. He has been reluctant to share such pesky details such as parking lot meet ups, etc., but I have thoroughly enjoyed having the pediatric specialist joys taken off the childcare plate. Even before the covidic chaos, the grueling chore of finding and attending specialists for a family of four was enough to saturate and drown my socially distant interest in medical science. By the end of my first parenting career I had spent far more hours with other people's specialists than I ever had for my own, psychiatric specialists included. My last comprehensive physical was 1995 when my sons were 15 and 11. When that physical suggested I needed yet another team of specialists of my very own, my flight instincts catapulted me from the consultation room, utterly and literally speechless. Beep beep. Crazy driver coming through and she ain't metaphoring around. The very thought of yet another wait in the medical park has had me increasing medical distances for ? ? ? over a quarter century? Facts available but not worth the research just now.
Hubby remains reluctant to share the covidic details and I find myself increasingly reluctant to ask. I really don't want the job back. At the start of my first parenting career, my adolescant ideals included proper medical and psychiatric care for the entire family. Those adolescant ideals overlooked the grueling hours of searching for the right specialist, haggling with insurance and the joyful waits in the medical parks. Throughout my first parenting career, all that fun was called, "Not Working."
Do I see Hubby ready to throw that "Hobby" back into my lap here in our second parenting career? It never was my favorite hobby but I'll get to have 33% more fun with ^it^ this time around. !!!!!Me duele la cabeza!!!!
Sorting. . . Again I leave the mood icon on the rapid cycling median. The gut knots are tightening.
