Meanwhile
Meanwhile, my older sister - who is admittedly uncomfortable around me now - has been emailing me occasional job listings. None of them ever has anything to do with anything I have ever done, ever been interested in doing, or am even remotely good at doing. LOL. She means well - I think - but it just shows me how little she ever really knew about me.
I politely informed her that I have been certified as a forklift operator; maybe that will clue her in on more of the type of jobs I am looking for. I really have no clue what a marketing consultant even does for a gift basket company - which is what the last twenty jobs she sent me dealt with.
Also meanwhile, on the gender dysphoria front,.... I am sorting out ways to try dealing with it. It's hard, given the physical anatomy there isn't correct - I'm not SRS post-op yet - but I know there must be some way to work around it. Thus far, anything I do "down there" nearly makes me physically ill just to try - that's how bad the dysphoria is. I have an idea of how I can possibly get around all that; but I need to sort out a few minor things, and possibly buy a piece of equipment to use.
I have little money to spare - little money at all - but I think investing in my health - which this is - is worth it. I'll just have to juggle things a bit more, until I can get caught back up.
On the plus side - I only have one more student loan payment left to go - if I can make this whole payment, I'll be FREE of SallieMae! Just $150.44 left to pay them entirely off! I've been scrimping and scraping, making more than the required payment each month, in an effort to get them paid off sooner. If I can just manage this one last payment,.... It'll be off my back, and off my credit!
All done while having no job, no unemployment benefits, nothing but food stamps and VA disability to live off of, with occasional help from a concerned relative, when said relative can afford to.
I've got to land a job soon - I can't keep scraping by like this much longer.
