meaningful time
I find myself wanting to have rest time very much.
When I do rest, it's important for me to commit to it.
Then I'm also aware that it's really important for me
to have some personally meaningful activity
out there in the world sometimes.
I can become so caught in thoughts and taking care
of the place, myself and Blue...and at times it can seem like
I get kind of lost in the flow of the day -
but I know also for me it's real important to keep active, someway,
some how,... it just adds a dimension to my experience. Like
a grounding and a dimension of self regard.
I came home from work today and had my lunch, fed and played with
Blue but then just rested and took a shower
and dressed. Made the bed, did the dishes, cleaned the litter box,
ordered medication and now I'm just hanging out. Grateful for the day.
Peace, Mark

it gives me a sense of place in the world too. Like not just lost in my own 'business' -
getting out of the house and being involved is just good for my mental health.
i'm more human doing than human being. i learn more about just being when i don't take life so seriously. not everything in life needs deep meaning.
get adventurous.
