Mom: So what’s up with this boy you like?
Me: Well, I gave him the letter last Wednesday. He emailed me and he said I love you. He made these videos of us called CapCut edits and he made one that said it said...1 Earth... 7 Seas... 7 Continents... 196 Countries... 8 billion people... and I was lucky enough to meet you.At the end of it there was pictures of us.I told him that we are both lucky and he said "Amen to that". Becca and Kaden hate him. Because of something he did in his past. I talked to him about it and he said that he won't do that to me
Mom: Yeah but cuz they say that doesn’t make it true. If what Becca showed me is true… it’s not a good situation for you:( I don’t want you to get hurt so hopefully you figure it out before that happens. Saying I love you already… that’s a red flag to me:(
Me: I really like him and I don't wanna let him go
Mom: But if he’s not a good person… then you shouldn’t like him. Your just gonna get hurt…he is way to young for any of that, he doesn’t even know what love is. He’s just trying to get to you. I have to go to work now… just think about it ok. I don’t want u to get hurt. Your sister and brother are trying to protect you! I love you! Listen to them they are both very smart! You are smart to just still young!
Me : He isn't a bad person. People make mistakes. I know that me and him are young. Teenage years are about learning, having fun, living your life.. Me and him are both learning. I guess I will think about it tho.

I think it's typical teen dating. It sounds awesome but your parents shouldn't turn you away from him. Most parents and siblings won't like who you're dating but that don't mean he's bad. Look at me, I don't like Nate's gf and idk what she looks like much less what she's like. It's normal all around I'd say. Just go for it. My parents were skeptical about Cory and I think they still are a little but that's them protecting me. Just follow your heart.
