May the Sixth be with you?

I felt like a bit of a mess today, struggling with anxiety and motivation to get my work done. I'm a little behind in studio and I have a physics exam tomorrow that I haven't focusedly studied for- though I know all the material. All things said though, I'm not perpetually behind like I was earlier in the quarter and I'm giving myself time to draw nowadays, which lets me keep up my weekly postinng schedule. It's good. 

I won a giveaway today! Lumine's English VA, Sarah Miller-Crews noticed me! She is a sweet person and I genuinely enjoy watching her streams and her positive approach to things has stuck with me. In a stream she did about a month ago I remember her saying, "other people's success is not your failure" and I've reminded myself of that whenever I begin to feel jealousy popping up. I'm feeling happier nowadays and more positive about everything (not necessarily because of her, but I can't deny her words have helped solidify it.) 

I nearly hyperventilated when she dmed me and personally emailed me. I had to remind myself that she's a person too and that I need to get off ny phone. Though I don't like the practice of idolizing others, I realized that I do it too, especially for people who are creatively successful or who have mindsets that seem more mature than mine. 

I have a bit of a headache right now. I have studio tomorrow morning for four hours and I haven't done the work for tomorrow. After that I have two hours to study for my physics exam and then I'm free for the weekend. Weekend work... is whatever the heck I get from studio, plus Friday homework from physics. I'm pretty caught up this week, might even be able to get a head start in bext week. Plus I gotta work on art for my Instagram. 

Tomorrow I want to simply get through five hours of classes, take a walk, shower, finish drawing this week's comic page, and just rest.. rest... doesn't seem like a very restful day tbh but we'll see how it goes.

Weekend is studio work whatever that is, physics friday homework. I also want to keep reading Bitter Fruit. And art; hopefully I can start coloring the first page and sketching out page 8. I'm also still thinking of applying to some zines and for that comic artist position. Finally I'll think about bugging that Ralphs about my in-person interview date.
