Marching

Times are going so well it doesn't even seem possible.  I looked back to the last time I wrote which was January, it feels like centuries ago.  So much has happened.  To begin I want to start with my dad.  Friday he underwent total left knee surgery. Everything went well and he is home recovering.  He is sore but hes doing everything they ask of him.  What a change.  He has been sober now since January, he is taking his pain medicine only as prescibed and he is my dad again. It is the greatest gift anyone could ask for. I am very happy and enjoying these moments and I wouldn't change them for anything. My sister is also sober at least that is what she says, I hope shes telling the truth but I am uncertain.  She is preparing for college and a new job so hopefully she is staying on the right track.  I am back in school and that is going well. Lots to do but so little time, thats always how it goes.  I feel good about everything that those that I love are doing for themselves, and thats the thing they are doing it for themself. They found the strength to concur the battles that they must fight and success is on the hoizon. I have been fighting a cold for over a week and for a while my anxiety got the best of me I was in tears one evening because I kept thinking I was dying, I don't know why I did that but I did. I stilll have a sore throat but I feel alot better today.  I was feeling so weak for a while, so anxious but I took the high road and am feeling good today.  I also for some unknown reason got in my head that I am getting fat. I mean I have gained some weight but it just sits there on my belly and I stare at it like its gross.  I let that bring me down, its life though I started trying to be more active and I figure in the summer and spring I will just need to do more outside. Sometimes I think I have seasonal depression, because I just feel so crappy in the winter.  There I go diagnosising again, but I think its just this damn cold. Other than this cold and my "winter pouch" I feel amazing. I drove in the snow some, I didnt like it but I did it nd accomplishing it made me feel terrific. I am just happy that things are on the up and up, my worrying and fears are trying to control me but I am working on it.
