Making Changes
So Friday I officially canceled my speaking engagement for June. It's just insane to think I can travel to Columbus for a five day conference with tons of walking around and then turn around in a week and travel to London for class for ten days. No way. I know which one is more important to me. I know the London trip will be tough, but doc and I have talked about how to make it work without crashing. We'll talk more as we get closer, too.
So far I'm feeling okay today. Tired, as usual, but not like I have to sleep *right now.* I think I can even keep my mind on my work today. Maybe.

Good for you, on all points! London, huh? You\'re more ambitious than I... Watch your pacing, plan on a few hours resting daily ANYWAY to keep the crashes away.
I have no right to be, but I\'m wicked proud of you!
It sounds like you are on the right track in managing your symptoms by choosing the activity that is most important to you. London sounds more fun than Columbus!
Aw, Jack that\'s so sweet!
MB- I know that\'s right! One I get to work, the other I get to learn. I\'m printing off the itinerary for the trip and I am planning when I\'m going to get my rest. We do get an entire day off on day 5, so I know what I\'ll be doing. ;) I might check out whether they have scooters available for rent in London. It could be an excellent investment if they do have them at a reasonable price.
And an update: I finished my User Guide! That sucker has been plaguing me since December and it feels GOOD to get it done! It still needs a final review and approval, but all my initial work is DONE. Yay! Now I need a nap. Yawn.
