making a step in any direction

Work was indeed good today - and I came home to the quiet of my home,

had lunch, played with Blue, cleaned up the dishes and then showered and dressed.

Went and got myself a coffee and then came back home....did some other stuff.

I've been feeling well enough that I don't let the little distressers get out of proportion

and I stick to my routine and responsibilities even so.

Now I've been trying to determine what to do with my day until my therapy session

at 130pm PST. I kind of didn't know what to do - and I tried to give it a logic -

and I realized I was nearly getting out of proportion about that minor project..what to do..

A step in any direction seemed fraught with a 'mental wrong turn' and which can then turn

chaotic. But I thought of then giving myself the framework of what my boundary is -

what imagined boundary (not in a negative sense) but what is it that I am working with

to then get on with my activities for the day - doesn't have to be large scale aspirations

or even small ones - but the boundary in itself helps me think about what to do and as well

feel a sense of agency and satisfaction from what I am doing...

maybe there's a sense of control I will add that makes me neurotic, in birthing a project (even like writing this journal)
that is an issue for me...I want to hold on- I want to be sure - fearing what it might mean - but then it's important
to be ok with letting the creation go - where it will have it's own life.

I find myself wondering if you should make it your goal to seek adventure. Take the **wrong** turn on purpose, just to see where it takes you. Let the creation have that life of its own. You're just along for the show. Pass the popcorn. . .

Stability is important, but it is possible to die of stability. It's certainly easy to let stability keep you from living.

Thanks Arfie! It’s curious how living alone takes a lot of effort as does living with others. I do have some adventures… and I really appreciate the reminder to have some.

I believe that living fully is THE challenge, whatever your life circumstance. That spirit of adventure is THE diff between a martyr and an explorer. The martyr sees sacrifice in all things. The explorer sees only new adventure and adventure is everywhere. How did that flower achieve its beauty in this hostile spot?

Just believing. . . Proof irrelevant.
