Making a decision
I woke up this morning after having made a life decision yesterday. I was feeling good about my choice and was appreciating life a great deal.
This morning after having set about my chores and duties here, my mind slowly started to go south. It didn't go too far as I remembered a phrase said by my therapist that 'with every choice, one over the other, there is a sacrifice to that decision.' It makes sense and I'm just trying to remember that and indeed it makes sense and I feel strengthened.

i'm applauding your therapist's wording of the phenom. by whatever name or description, i go through many regrets with every major life decision i make. personally, i call it, "buyer's remorse." should i have bought the other one?
easy does it, my fellow questioner. i seldom get to know what i would have found on the road not taken, but i figure it's okay to wonder, as long as i keep stepping on the road i **did** take.
thanks Arfie!!
Congratulations on making a life decision!
Thanks Susan!
