make some space to express some individuality

I find myself spinning so much to be the responsible and appropriate person (for lack of a better way to say it)

but while I am alone, aside from being responsible, I want to make space for expressing myself.

And I am doing just that.

For some reason as I have been watching tv (PBS) it feels as though the humility in me becomes

"turbo charged" and there's no room for me to want something more.

But I'm going to go with making space for expressing myself and that is changing my focus.

it's weird how we are all interdependent and have to negotiate our individuality to get to express ourselves in life
and also make our way socially, romantically and professionally. It's not easy and mental health is something
to be cherished a great deal. It makes those moments possible.

may i humbly disagree that humility has the greed to leave no room for you to want something more? to my own logic, it be my ego and low self-esteem which greedily gobble up space and opportunity. humility removes excess baggage and ego to make room for whatever might care to share its space.

however, i heartily agree that mental health is something to be cherished and makes those moments possible.

I think it’s probably a balance. I can be so dutifully ‘in place’ and servile to a situation that it deprives me of self expression. I think we’re coming from two separate directions. I need space to create otherwise my respect for all dynamics can immobilize me.
