Loving My New Job

My new job is fun and interesting.  It's not the highest paying job I've had, but whatever I earn is mine.  It's not like commissioned sales where the earning potential is off the charts, but you could very well end up earning nothing after working an entire day.
I was in an industry where online sales have taken over.  While the income of a sales person  in my old industry could be anywhere from 35,000 to 100,000+, you've got to earn every dime.  You've got to put up with the worst treatment imaginable.

I'd rather have the lower salary and a job I like.
Anyhow, it's a temp position and I'd love to stay, but if that's not possible I'd love to continue to temp during my retirement years.  Being semi-retired is a great way to close out my working years.

I am glad its fun and interesting. It makes working a lot more fun. I hope working temp works for you. At least you can work at various places and learn about each and every one of them. I hope you can keep dong it. Being semi-retired is not that bad. I love being retired. Its a lot of fun. I just wish I could lock myself into a job that is fun and interesting.
