love you, can't help it.......for dominoes everywhere!

days become dominoes.

how many days go by?
it's not that we don't love others, that we don't want or need interaction with others, it's a simple human equation. while suffering the slam dunk 86 us in to next year "influence of a crappy crash"....."a fractious flare" we don't and can't live up to any expectations.......not of others and not of ourselves.
we just are. i have no interactive technology in my bedroom --- save an old dying land line phone. it probably needs batteries --- no energy to fix it. maybe there are batteries here? maybe i need to go get batteries. maybe.....probably. doesn't matter.
i am up now making food. sustenance. eggs. protein. a pink naval orange. foooooooood. cold sweet liquids, hot delicious fluffy protein, that is the primary goal here. i am awake twice a day. an hour or two in the mornings, a few hours in the evenings........the rest of me sleeps.
while i am awake there is a lot of groggy closed eye lid action happening here. whoo whee doggies.
of course sleep is a blessing, but ceases to feel blessed while the rest of life ceases. .....mail waits at the end of the drive. trash waits --- dishes wait in the sink. kitties get fed, but wait for play and cuddles as usual.
life as a domino. then at last a lift will come, one of those brief glorious pockets of time-released energy.......so we grab that brass ring and go out for a bit. to walk, to get chores done.......to see the planet beyond the bedroom. then come back to rest because the PEM is coming. it never forgets to come. never.
it's part of the cycle of life......my cycle anyway. got gratitude for the times up and out.........then back to practicing patience in the lovely but often confining waiting room at Cotton Bed, Inc........that's CBI for those of us in the know.
It's just round the bend after an all too short visit to Overdidit, Earth (for Chronically Ill Sweeties Everywhere). cause when we get an energy burst it's all but impossible not to break the fence and fly through the meadow like a young colt.

Hugs are now being accepted and proferred........take some.......leave some. Feel the love........we'll all put our dominoes close so we can share the journey.......circle the wagon together.

Hello, sweet Ruthie. I\'m sorry to hear that your life is being swallowed up in sleep right now. You must be awfully tired. Your mind is so alive and active. I know how hard it is for your body not to follow. Hold tight, dear girl. Much love.

Well, you took me right along with you, especially the running colt part. I do also dream of living my life as I once did. You perfectly describe the agony of sleep, as it is. Perfect.

Wish I could sleep like you do. I do get about 7 to 8 hours of sleep in a 24 hour time frame but it comes in 20 minute to 75 minute segments. If I ever sleep for 2 hours in a row I\'m afraid I have something wrong with me. LOL Would gladly trade some of my awake time with you. I have been doing this for over 20 years now.
