love the rain.......
rain is soothing.
my cuddle chicken arrived.........love that chicken. now to think up a name. never named a chicken before, not a live one, not an animated one, not a stuffed one. silly cute, very very soft and oh so cuddly.
making dinner......sauteing veggies to fold into scrambled eggs, serve with corn tortillas and enjoy a nice quiet dinner in bed.
names for a huggable chicken.......hmmmmm. can't tell if it's a boy or a girl. lol........
the puddle off the back patio is getting deep......it's almost to the top of the patio. sam winterized right on time.
things coming up:
sunday the 18th is early thanksgiving at martha & wendell's cabin (just up the road)
and later on that same day is a farewell dinner for frank & cindy. frank accepted a position in charleston, sc, so they are putting their house here on the market......getting a small apartment there until they find a new home there. a lot going on........happy that frank found a good job, sad that they have to leave the area. charleston is a beautiful southern city on the coast........we're all to meet at the cracker barrel near sam's home.
not sure if i can manage both, but ya never know. time to scramble the eggs...........love you!

Ruthie,
Here's a suggestion for your new cuddle chicken - "Cackles" - just think "Cackles the cuddle chicken" - that's a name that would fit for either a boy or a girl. LOL
Speaking of rain, it has been raining here all day & cold too - barely made it to 40 degrees. More rain tonight & tomorrow. Since it is coming from your direction I'm sure you are still receiving it.
Hugs....Mike
Yay, a cuddle chicken! That sounds like fun. It's raining/snowing here. It can't decide which to do. Love you.
I like the name, Cuddles McGee! LoL Enjoy your dinner and the rain to serenade you as you go through your day Rain here is our winter and I love that... Happy Cuddling Ruthie Love you back ♥
A silly name for your cuddle chicken - Poulet. Pronounced "Pool A". Do you speak French? Poulet is French for "chicken". Your chicken will have a very fancy sounding French name but it will really just be calling your chicken "Chicken". LOL. I know, I have a weird sense of humor!
