love and rejection

I think we're all feeling a mix of love and rejection

when we go 'out there' into the world.

Some folks pleasant, some folks leave you feeling lacking...

but you keep on keeping on and come home to those, like Blue,

who is your special someone. :)

Today I'm resigned to my illness. I started to have auditory halucinations,

but I am learn to deal with it and see it - just-  like a book on my booshelf that I look at sometimes.

I know I also have to deal with my errands that keep my life going - and keep at my duties here -

it's all pretty routine - and so I keep on keeping on.

How I look at those moments where I sense 'seeing and hearing' is I appreciate them for their help. It seems to make it a little easier to move through the experience quietly and with calm.

Here's to you!

This post generated a conversation between me and my ex wife who is sitting across from me. For 18 years, I toiled in a wood working shop doing labor intensive work and every day after arriving home from a long, hard day, my wife would open the door and tell the dog, "Daddy's home"! as I got out of my car and my little pug would run after me and jump up in my arms. That made me feel so good, so I thanked her for doing that all those years. Dog's only know unconditional love and that's what I felt from all the pets I had ever owned. I have always believed they are angels sent by God to help us get through the days while we are here on earth.

I’m glad you’re able to manage your auditory hallucinations. I like your “book on the shelf” analogy! So glad you and Blue have one another.
