Longwood Gardens
In May I made a return visit to Longwood Gardens. A place I hadn't been to in over 15 years. I went with some friends the first time, this time I went with my meet up group friends. Unfortunately we had to change the date a few times due to weather and when we settled on a date, with what turned out to be picture perfect weather, many people had to drop out. I am going to split my post into 2-3 cause there is so much to show you.
It is a gorgeous garden in Kennett Square PA, not far from Philly. They just opened up a modern conservatory building and bonsai garden. The older conservatory buliding had a bonsai exhibit that featured Azaleas. I had never seen Azaleas used for bonsai before. The last Bonsai pic is from the outdoor collection. Some of those were created 100 or more years ago. They had a desert area and I took pics of some cactus'
