Long time no see...
So it looks like I havent posted in a long time. I am back on the site now as I work with my sobriety. I am re-married to the love of my life (2 years) and have 2 wonderful children with her. My 2 year old Gabe and my 3 month old Maximus. They are the light of my world.
By simply looking at my past journals its easy to ascertain why I am back: I am fighting to stay sober. I am at an apex: if I continue to drink I will lose my new family.
So far sobriety seems like a real possiblilty. I havent been this straight for this long, since well 2002. One day at a time.
I originally considered the 12 steps of AA total bullshit, but I think im going to actually start working them. AA seems to be working for me so far and to be honest, who am I to turn away from it if it works.
I will be blogging my 12 steps here.
