Long pointless rant
My cousin who remains loyal to my aunt [the theif] moved in with her online boyfriend a few months ago. I'm enrgaged that my aunt [who obviously only cares about herself] would let her go and meet him. Everyone including herself claims he is a douche bag and a selfish pig. She is only 18 and she is suporting him. I have never been in love, but I'm just confused at how someone could admit from day one that the guy is garbage and still stay with him...? She got a large portion of the money my aunt stole from us, and she's blowing it on him...She said she wanted to go to collegeĀ ...But why should I care what she spends the money on? It's stolen money in the first place. I'm confused, should I be glad she's wasting all the money and then wont have anything to show for it in a matter of a year...Or should I try to get her to grow the F up and plan for the future?...Or just continue doing what I have been trying to do all along- forget about her completely? I continue to stress over this issue because I still can't get over my aunt and what she did to her family, and how she's not finished- she's using my cousin/ her own neice now.

i took two things from this. first. you need to separate yourself from this person, and move on. dont involve yourself with what goes wrong or what goes right. just move on. second. you need to come to terms of whether you believe the money was stolen from you, or if it was just misdirected. if you feel like it was stolen from you, then youre never going to make peace with this until you do all that you can to plea your side of the story. if you feel that they received it for unfair reasons, but that its what who ever had it originally would of wanted, then just move on.
my grandfather was going to give me his powered equipment for his workshop, and his truck. like 20,000. i got nothing from his death. because he gave it all to the woman he lived with. we could of claimed family rights since they werent married... just living together. she sold most of it off very quickly. by the first week the truck was gone and the equipment sold. thats just the kind of man he was, to associate with people like that. i left them. my mother took it hard. but she moved on too. we dont really want anything from it. we buried him like we buried them. theyre dead now. im at peace with it.
