Loner by choice.
This is a great day. Some nausea and anxiety but the physical pain is not so severe. I feel that this site is really good for me. A loner by choice, I do not make friends easily. Very shy initially. Very easy-going and can be a lot of fun. Fine enough intellect. Many people would want to get closer to me but I put up the polite wall. I do not trust easily. Low self-esteem and a feeling of "being quite different" from the average person is why I do not reach out to others. I have never had much support of any kind as I am a giver type that finds it difficult to receive. Working on that one. Well, the sun is out and this is really great for Oct. in BC so I am going to go down to the ocean for a chat with the seagulls. They are quite friendly if I bring them breadcrumbs. :)

Glad it was a good day for you. How were the seagulls?
ahahahahahaha. I got so hung up on the computer today I just zoned out on some silly game, my mail, DS, in between thinking about life in general and a few phone calls. It\'s ok, the sun is expected to shine tomorrow and I have no intention of even turning the computer on. The seagulls will be there tomorrow and so will I. :)
Have you ever read any Melodie Beattie? I\'m reading one of her books now and really recommend her stuff. She talks about a lot of the stuff you just mentioned and how to work through it.
I\'m on the east coast and have been watching seagulls a lot lately. For example I only realized this year that when they\'re sitting/standing on the ground they always point their heads into the wind. I\'m trying to figure out how to write a poem(s) about them. No luck yet - and I\'ve been thinking about it for a couple of months :)) I\'ve been reading the lyrics of Joni Mitchell\'s \"Song of the Seagull\". Do you know that one?
No, but I should because she is Canadian and has at least one residence very close by. I will look it up when I get some more energy, if I remember. Thank you elly. Hugs. Hope your day is beautiful and bright. :)
