got food in the oven.  got tail parked in a chair.  lovvvvvvvve chairs! 

trying to make chicken fried pork cube steaks and revisiting broccoli/cauliflower/potato casserole

despite my health problems i'm pushing harder than usual today.

but i'll have good food to eat while i'm laid up the next few days.......

yesterday i went to the dentist.  they had to move my crown appt to friday cause the dental doc was sick on monday.  lots of things are blooming in georgia so it's a allergy fest daily.....all the bartlett pear trees are exploding with white blossoms......this makes the world pretty and my head explode.  everything is a trade off.

yesterday i played air taps over the beautiful dead bromeliad that my friend also named ruth gifted me not so long ago.  i murdered this poor plant......normally i am little miss green thumb, but this time it was an epic fail.  feel so saddding for that poor pretty plant.  i picked up an aloe vera plant baby at the wal of mart yesterday.

this morning i did a some potting......made such a mess!  i went to pour dirt out of the big red ceramic pot into a bowl and it went blewy all over the place......i deserve the gold for sloppy mess of the day!

i can hear strains of the olympic theme playing in my kitchen ......thank God for water and sponges right?  right!

in the end i moved the Angel plant from the kitchen window sill to the big red ceramic pot......added some lovely fresh potting soil.....hope it will be happy in it's new location!  then i moved a snippet of christmas cactus to the christmas cactus pot by the frig....next i repotted the new baby aloe vera into the blue pot on the kitchen window sill......then i topped off all four window sill plants with fresh soil, watered all the plants and felt good about it.

yes, it hurts to do so much.....but it hurts my heart/soul/mind to not do things too. 

i bought a yard of soft blue material yesterday to make more miniature pillow cases.....what is this fabric called?  fleece maybe?  yes, i think it is definitely fleece.  hope to work on that project in a few days time.

meanwhile sara had another job interview, this time at my longtime workplace alma mater........she seemed fairly happy with the way it all went, she met with two people and felt good about it all.......but we'll see.  as much as i'd like to see her work there, i want her to do what's best for her even more........it's her life and her decision.  i'll be praying about everything and hope for a good result/great offer that is just right for her!

the timer is going off........hang on! lunch looks and smells delish......time to watch the second half of Aftermath.  hugs, hugs, hugs!
