Little status update

So I'm trying to get through this sort of burnout- or whatever its called, a result of prolonged stress and worry. Not even work itself, but the stress associated with work. I feel fried, I have no motivation. I have so much I want to do but I feel like I can't. Just getting started takes a good concentration of will... It's been too many weeks of repeating the same pattern and I'm done with it.

Also had a ridiculously heavy period coupled with cramping, soiled two pairs of paints, my mattress, and my office chair already. THAT doesn't help matters! I try my best to not let it hinder me too much, just one of the pains of being female.

I don't know if it's a ME/CFS thing, but I used to get periods like that--completely out of control. You might want to check into it, but they'll suggest the Pill. That seems to be what they do for that.

I understand the burnout. It's just like you hit a wall.

OK, I just hit a wall, apparently. So, lie quietly every time you can and when you can't just close your eyes for a few moments at least. Love you.

oh that sounds horrible, and Im sure your period is just making everything that much more unbearable (ppl make jokes, but its a serious situation) not to be graphic, but Ive mentioned I get heavy periods as well, I wear 2 pairs of underwear - i 'normal pair- and one booty shorts over them- it helps hold everything in place and if there is any 'mess' it gets on the designated booty shorts LOL. trust me u will thank me- its not bulky or obvious at all- and for bed I would double up on whatever as u will have 2 pairs of underwear- this will spare the mattress- saving the bigger item for the booty shorts (Ive ruined mattress before, its very hard to get out- u have to get it while its fresh- and not let it dry, even if u just keep adding water to dilute it- cold water only/ hot will set it like dye, good luck- you'll feel better next week once it all passes....xoxooxoxo
