Lisa stopped by
It has been a crazy hectic couple of weeks. I got a call from Cevyn the day before I was to fly home from Thunder Bay. She was distraught. Her dad and his wife are fighting and she has been taking the brunt of it. She was so stressed. So Joe and I flew out - at least she knows that her granny and poppa love her unconditionally. There are photos posted on Facebook.
Lisa came to visit this afternoon. I was in the kitchen cooking - I was using an online recipe. The computer was not facing me. Suddenly I heard someone singing "I come often" (or something like that). I went to the computer to see what site it had changed to. When I got there, the singing stopped and the recipe was still there. I just had to smile. I know it was Lisa's way of telling me that she knew we were with Cevyn.
Lisa: You are a marvel. I love your daughter soo much and I miss you always and love you forever, Mummy

How awful for Cevyn to have to be caught up in her dad\'s problems. How wonderful for her to have you and Joe with your unconditional love and support. Glad Lisa came to visit. Sue xo
Hi Marlene, its so good that Cevyn has you and Joe to reach out to; knowing you & Joe are always there for her.
And Lisa stopping by is such a gift! Well done, Lisa! Love, Linda
I just love to hear about visits..... so cool...
Every child needs that grandparent who loves them and will move mountains for them. Good job.
What happiness for Lisa to sing to her mummy. Bet you\'re still smiling!
XOXO, Debbie
It makes me feel all warm inside thinking about how much you love Cevyn and will do anything to help her. That\'s how I feel about Athena. I think you know that.
I\'m glad she knows you two are there for her. :-)
Go Lisa!! I LOVE how she made her presence known AND sent you such a specific message! Really never ceases to amaze me these kids of ours!
You and hubby are Cevyns safety net...and after having met her i can see how easy she is to love.
You play a vital role in Cevyn\'s life. It was my grandmother and grandfather who I felt the most unconditional love from when I was growing up and after. It was so very vital for me. Loved hearing about Lisa\'s visit!
What a blessing for Cevyn to know you will always be there for her. So glad you were able to go.
Granny and Poppa are amazing and are Cevyn\'s go to people! We all need those people in our lives that we know will drop everything to come to BE with us. YOU are that for your granddaughter.
Take care of you in the midst dear Marlene as your heart is vast and feels so deeply. Hoping Joe is feeling okay too? Problems with the feet are the pits.
Oh, that Lisa... Knowing our children are near is a healing balm that is sorely needed and such a gift when we take notice. :)
Loving care and YOU rock!
XO Joanie
What a safe haven you & Joe are for Cevyn. I\'m so glad I got to meet her at the Lake Tahoe retreat. She is precious. What a blessing that you all have each other.
Your sweet Lisa.....always a marvel and a sweetheart.
You are wonderful grandparents - and Cevyn knows that whatever happens you will always be there to pick up the pieces. That\'s such a gift for anyone to have in their life, just as she is such a gift to you and Joe. You make Lisa proud:)

We are a special type of people us as Grandmothers. We still pick up the pieces when things fall or break. Thank goodness you are there when Cevyn needs a shoulder to cry on. Lisa keeps an eye on all of you.
Big hugs Penny
