Lights are Shinning, Bells Ringing, People Singing!!!!
I Stand looking out The Windows of ICU...As I stare at the Beauty below, my mind drifts, words come out of my mouth...oh, Ken the beauty of Christmas, the bright shinning light sparkle addin beauty to the streets below covered in the slush of the melted snow, the salt sprayed to melt the streets as others can walk in safety. As the words came out of my mouth, oh Ken when did the beauty of Christmas appear.. The minutes have passed..As slow as a drop of a tear falls down my check, as I know as I turn around the tears will fully flow as I will know my sons time draws near.....but I continue to hear the words come out of my mouth...oh Ken, how I wish you could see the beautiful lights, how I wish you could see the beauty below....If I turn around, I will once again know the horror that will face me face to face, my son will be gone soon and I will never share the lights with you again...I do not want to leave the peace I feel as I stare down at the beauty below..Yet in my heart i know...I am a mom I just know...yet I fight it with ever being, I will it with my ever being, I pray with my ever being that this I do know that someway somehow it will somehow turnout different..somehow the lights will keep glowing

Ken is seeing the lights right now and blessing all of us too. Peace, Kathy
Thank you for touching this heart of stone...
Your description of your breaking heart is breathtaking.
It also reminded me of the morning of January 25, 2013. I walked quickly into Jason\'s glass enclosed room of the Critical Care Unit. There were so many machines hooked up to my son\'s body, the hum of the collective machines shook me to the core. An intubation machine rhythmically pumped oxygen into his lungs and was almost hypnotic in it\'s beat. He had been put into an induced coma the night before. The Critical Care Doctor was very concerned with the low blood pressure and critically high heart rate. Therefore, I made a be-line to the chair by my son\'s bed, sat down and immediately began talking to him. Describing what an absolutely stunning winter morning it was. My son was not going to die. This was just a hiccup in the whole plan.
Thank you so much for sharing. You have a wonderful way of describing the scene so I felt that I was there as well. Thank you for reminding me...

This is such a heartbreaking time of the year. Tight hugs my dear friend. M
I\'m so sorry. I don\'t think I will ever get over watching David die in his hospital room - I didn\'t even know what I was doing or saying. It\'s like being stuck on an elevator and not being able to get out until you reach the bottom - but you don\'t want to reach the bottom because you know what lies there. And you can\'t stop it - you just have to watch it getting closer. Totally helpless.
I\'m so sorry. This time of year just stinks. Tight Hugs,
It is sometimes such an overwhelming sadness. However, even though I will never share the earth beauty with my son Michael again, I believe he sees beauty that we cannot even imagine. And that someday, I will share it with him again. Blessings to you. Peace XOXO Belinda

A moment in time forever in your heart and described with such vividness. I felt as if I were standing at that window with you and also beside Ken\'s bed.
I hope the image you saw that evening is one our children see daily in their rebirth. What a sweet reunion it will BE,
Tender (((hugs))) of care,
XO Joanie
