Life on T

Well, I have been on T for a short while, and already I am noticing some small changes. Today, a friend commented on my voice being "more deep and well-rounded"; I don't know if that's from the cold I have or from the T - time will tell. I do know my voice sounds a little deeper to me, just not sure of the cause yet.

I'm on a topical version of T, using 1.62% T once a day, until next month - then I use twice the topical dose once a day, likely from then on. I have to rub the stuff in and give it time to dry before I put a shirt on every day; but at least I don't have to give myself shots.

I took myself off of the antidepressant - don't try this at home, folks - for about a week, just to see if I still needed it, and... Well,... I no longer feel depressed off of it, but I go into odd mood swings. So, I'm back on it, for now.

I also got a note from my endocrinologist to use towards getting the gender-markers on my legal papers switched, so all I need now is for the final background check papers to come in and I can change my name and gender legally.

I voted - had to prove I am who I am, but that went as smoothly as it could.

Overall, I feel happier and more... ME ... than ever before in my entire life. Inside, I am dancing for joy; it has been worth the pain and hassle I have been going through to reach this point, so near to reaching my goal. I am getting my style sorted out. I am finally free to be MYSELF, openly.
I look in the mirror, and see an overweight guy, who is loosing weight slowly but surely, as he gets into better shape. I'm not tall, but I never wanted to be tall. I'm making progress.

And it feels AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
