Life may seem sad but i love it :-)

well, most of my life I was abused mentally, emotionally, and verbally. I really do not want to admit physically cause its still hard for me to admit to that. I have been having such great times in my life with friends and meeting couples..... I personally feel as if God is really shining in my life and working hard to make me happy. At first, i was depressed because my mother didnt want to talk to me. I feel as if theres a bad vibe from her when I stand in the room with her. She will not speak to me or communicate with me saddly, even make eye contact with me. Before I met Christ, i would be extremly low and blame myself for not being the perfect child. I know how my parents view me buit that is okay, God loves me for me, I have a new church family and i love every last one of them. I may not be able to share my fun experiences with my mother but that is okay since I have my church family now

I am glad for your being able to let your mother be as she is right now. She has to work through whatever it is for her and you cannot make that happen. However, based on personal experience, I would reach out beyond the church for friendship as well, to keep your view balanced. It sounds like they are good people that you have found and God does love you.

The other half of the equation is loving yourself and experiencing the highs and lows that God meant for us all to feel, as long as they aren\'t beyond your limits. I have found that people are people, even in churches, and one needs to keep that in mind and maintain one\'s self as an individual outside the church too.......life is about experiencing all things that God has provided.
