life is about moments....trying to process
My sister once said, a long, long time ago, that life is about moments.
I totally understand that and agree. Trying to be mindful right now. Though the things that happen within,
when my life is disrupted, don't seem to take a good or orderly seat in my mind (right?) where the
mind could order those feelings and process them as being but 'just a moment.' Make sense? The 'bad' moments
or the 'down' moments seem to take the stage, front and center, as though they're the true showstopper
and star and want all the attention. I thought about this today - and I thought how often I tend to ruminate about ideas and feelings when sparked by dissapointment or whatever -
in a way that might be a kind of processing initially but don't really keep me from delving deep and so not coping effectively either -
I think if I think about life being moments, then the bad moments are getting too much attention
and I want to give more focus to my interests rather than just a smoldering rumination over the sad stuff.
I am not covering new ground here but in essence I am dealing with a day that had me recognize that
I much prefer being alone so I don't have to dissappoint anyone besides myself. When I am alone it's like dream time
and I find myself relating to the world in that way I want to -- relating with the things, ideas and aspirations I hope for.
When I am with others or think about others - I become again this doodley-dude. LOL
I think though if I am to process things as moments I think I can get used to in part that sadness running somewhere in the background while I seek out the adventure and good moments. I feel like this post has totally 'canceled' my intent for writing but I will try to just keep positive... another day! Woot! Things are actually good. I am sending prayers and good vibes and good moments to you guys!

I think in the end, you will mostly remember the good moments. Even though it is easy to harp on the bad moments. I, myself have to let go of stuff that happened to me. Letting go of past negative stuff and being a tad spiteful are two of my flaws. I think it's good to be self aware of your flaws. Just my two cents.
thanks Chris! We all have flaws!
